Vitamins
Human beings and vitamins:
A vitamin is an organic compound required as a nutrient which cannot be
synthesized in sufficient quantities by our organism and must be obtained
from the diet and from dietary supplement.
Vitamins are essential to the normal functioning of our bodies. They are
important for our growth, vitality and general well being.
Mammals are still able to produce Vitamin C. On the contrary human beings
lost this ability during evolution – as a result of curiosity in research
and intelligence.
The prehistoric man could yet enjoy only untreated nutrition – fruits, tubers
and berries. In these times they haven’t been treated with insecticides,
plant protectants or with substances to get a more intensive colour/ taste
or to increase life periods.
This “food-chain-advancement” during evolution did cause that our body became
well-supplied by Vitamin C … an indigenous production became no longer essential.
Today we no longer get untreated nutrition – the development is not reversibel.
Since most people got accustemed to this vitamin deficiency today, we don’t
know how much power, energy, health and vitality remain unused…
Is it possible to cover the recommended quantity of vitamins and
mineral substances with a healthy diet?
Unfortunately – No!
Even if we consequently keep the quantity of 6-7 daily fruit-meals – we
don’t get enough particular vitamins and minerals which we require to provide
best health care.
The main reason for that is: Meanwhile our food offers only short vitamin
contents – due to: long transportation routes, ultraviolet-rays, long storage
time, artificial radiation, unhealthy ways of preparation etc.
Nevertheless you should of course eat as much fruits and vegetables as possible
– from ecological cultivation…!
